Dan has always believed strongly that in the theatre, our bodies are our primary tool for storytelling. After studying Physical Theatre at the College of William & Mary, the Accademia dell-Arte in Italy, and with Pig Iron Theatre Company, Dan started his own performance company, Aura CuriAtlas Physical Theatre. To Dan, Physical Theatre isn’t a type of product (though it can be), it is a process through which we can approach the training and creation of all physical performance. With over a decade and a half of experience and experimentation, Dan loves sharing what he has learned with performers from all disciplines, teaching actors, dancers, and acrobats to move, create, and tell stories.

Dan is a recurring guest instructor at Columbia College Chicago and the College of William & Mary.
